Why hummingbird bread?
My husband introduced me to hummingbird cake by surprising me with one on my birthday instead of my usual chocolate cake. I loved the tropical flavors of pineapple, bananas, the brown sugar and pecans. It’s been my favorite ever since. Then I started baking it as quick bread so we can have it on those busy mornings when there’s no time to make breakfast.
We are a small, family-owned homestead and business based out of Spring Hill, FL. I bake quick bread loaves with simple ingredients like fresh eggs from free range chickens, fruits, dairy, hand shredded cheese, organic coconut oil, and no mystery ingredients. I hope that you will love our breads as much as we do.
On the weekends you can find me at a local farmers market from 10 am until 3pm.
